Steve went to Utah for his dad’s 100th birthday this last weekend. We have a friend in Utah that we stay with when we go to visit. We always do something crafty for each other for Christmas. So we thought if we could get it done Steve could take it with him. Also it was her daughter’s birthday and we wanted to do something for that as well.<\/p>\r\n

She told me that they have decided for the last few years that their Christmas colors are red and turquois. Have you looked for things that are those colors and Christmas? They are not to be found. So of course our solution was to make them something. So we made these cute Santa ornaments. The pictures look a lot more blue but it is very turquois in person!<\/p>\r\n

Then we decided to make some ornaments similar to some that we saw at our local store. Finding the turquois vinyl was a little tough but we love how they turned out!\"\"<\/p>\r\n

For the birthday girl (she turned 15) black is her color of choice and she likes gnomes! So we made her this fun “garland” that she could leave up all year! We love the colors too! We also made her a little Joy plaque to help her stay positive!\"\"<\/p>\r\n
